How To Measure:
To find your perfect fit, grab a pair of shorts you already love and follow these steps. This will help you understand how McTavish shorts will fit on you.
All you need is a tape measure, a flat surface and your favourite shorts (to measure against). All measurements are in centimetres (CM) and are taken with the garment lying flat.
Waist width
Lay the shorts flat and measure straight across the top edge of the waistband. For relaxed, do not stretch the elastic; for extended, stretch it fully flat.
Hip width
Measure 20 cm below the top of the waistband, straight across from one side to the other.
Leg opening
Lay one leg flat and measure straight across the bottom hem from edge to edge.
Outleg length
Measure from the top of the waistband down the side seam to the bottom hem.
Front & back rise
For the front rise, measure from the crotch seam straight up to the top of the waistband. For the back rise, measure from the same point at the crotch seam up the back to the top of the waistband.
